Bio

Born and raised in Olds, Darci Miller brings a strong foundation in community engagement, event management, and people-focused leadership to her role at Olds College. With degrees in Gender Studies and Communications, she combines academic insight with real-world experience to create inclusive, welcoming environments across campus and beyond.

Miller is a lifelong competitive dancer who spent time in Vancouver to further pursue her passion. She has spent several years as a dance instructor, mentoring young performers and helping instill confidence, courage and creativity in youth—a skill set she now channels into her work in events and athletics. She brings extensive experience in event planning and management, rooted in years of organizing seasonal dance recitals and community events. Last season, she played a key role in coordinating game days with the Olds College Broncos as Game Day Lead, ensuring smooth execution and fan engagement. Her diverse background has shaped a strong foundation in logistics, leadership and creating meaningful experiences.

Rooted in a long-standing family tradition of farming, Miller has a deep appreciation for the land and the values of hard work, care, and community that come with it. She remains passionate about creating meaningful connections through sport, education, and local initiatives.

When she’s not organizing events or cheering on the Broncos, Miller enjoys spending time with her beloved cat, Rue.

She is excited to be part of the Olds College Athletics team and brings a high level of energy, creativity, and commitment to everything she does.
