Bio

Rae Anne Wright brings a dynamic blend of corporate experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and community leadership to her role with Olds College Athletics. A University of Calgary graduate, Rae Anne began her career with corporate Safeway, where she managed floral departments for 215 stores across Canada. In 1998, she stepped away from the corporate world to raise her growing family, raising four successful children—a music teacher, a nurse, a professional hockey player, and a future graduate in 2026.

Alongside her husband, a third-generation Olds-area farmer, Rae Anne played an integral role in managing their diverse family businesses. Over the years, she managed the operations and administration of a shavings company, colored mulch company, trucking and box truck delivery companies and a construction/land development company.  After the sale of most of these businesses in 2023, Rae Anne transitioned back into the workforce, spending time with the CLC before taking on a finance role with Chinook’s Edge School Division.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Rae Anne enjoys playing and watching sports and has dedicated countless hours to coaching, managing teams, and serving on sport boards. Passionate about youth development and community involvement, she is excited to bring her energy and dedication to Olds College Athletics.
