Today marked the last regular season and last home game for the Broncos. The start of the match included a moment of silence to honour and recognize the passing of Broncos Badminton Coach Gokarn Ramdanhi. The athletes took to the field, laid flowers at centre and paid their respects before starting the match. 

It was a wet, snowy and cold game at Olds College. After the first 45 minutes of play the Trojans led the Broncos 6-1 with 2 goals from Meagon Wiebe. SAIT's other goal scores in the first half included Jasmin Salmon, Kenzie Georgsen, Jamie McPherson and Harleen Singh. The Broncos only goal in the first half was scored by Tiona Paton. The Broncos saw a goalie substitution at the 17 minute mark having Maeve Van't Klooster leave the field and Dana Walcott enter for her debut. This dual sport athlete made two great saves for her first games as a Goalkeeper. 

The second half was just as windy and just as snowy. The SAIT Trojans were able to score 4 more goals in the last 45 minutes of play. Trojan goal scorers in the second half included Jade Metz,Kerigan Framption, Mykayla Rigio and Nicole Charlton. The Broncos second goal was scored by number 9, Felicia Rodney. The final score saw the Trojans defeating the Broncos 11- 2. 

The player of the game for the SAIT Trojans was number 21, Sydni Clement and the Olds College Broncos player of the game was number 14 Essie Pryor. 

Olds College Broncos also recognized its graduating student-athletes at the end of the match. Those who were recognized included Felicia Rodney, MJ Vergara, Kassidy Kelly, Tiona Paton, Kami Tams and Milaney Anhorn all who will be completing their study of choice this academic year. 

The Olds College Broncos now move on to their playoff game this Friday where they will play Medicine Hat.
