Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) Queens won 3-0 (25-15, 25-9, 25-15) to the Olds College Broncos on November 19, 2021 at the Ralph Klein Centre.

The first set saw the queens playing very strong at the net, running a very strong attacking offence and defence against the Broncos. Broncos number 16, Lexi Lafreniere had a great showing, playing in the starting setters position for the Broncos. RDP Queens take the first set by a score of 25-15. 

Again, RDP held their own at the net both offensively and defensively. Outside hitters, Anna Carlson and Jadyn Leong along with Setter, Emma Letkeman from the Queens see great success in the second set. The Broncos did their best but ultimately the Queens took the second set with a score of 25-9. 

The Broncos fought hard the entire third set. Outside hitter Samantha Laboucan and middle blocker Serra Schoepfner had a great showing in the third set with some great kills and blocks. Again, Anna Carlson and Emma Letkeman from the Queens we're a great pair. The Queens won the final set with a score of 25-15. 

The player of the game for the RDP Queens was number 11, Anna Carlson and the player of the game for the Olds College Broncos was number 4, Fancesca Sandini.  

The Queens and Broncos meet again tonight, November 20, 2021 in Red Deer. Then the  Broncos play at home next Thursday, November 25, 2021 as they take on the Lethbridge Kodiaks.
